The Aspen Mites played two cross-ice inter squad games during the first intermission of the Avalanche game against the St. Louis Blues. The players showed off their skating and scoring skills, and their ability to celebrate after goals. Ryan Rigney was selected after the game for a live interview broadcast on the jumbo-screen. He emphasized that the night was about working hard, fun and great "cellies" (celebrations), and made sure to thank his older brothers. It was the highlight of the night in the Avs overtime loss to the Blues.
