ALL RMJHL HOME GAMES PLAYED AT LEWIS ARENA IN 16-17

After calling the Aspen Ice Garden home for the  inaugural Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League in Aspen, the defending champions are moving their home games to Lewis Arena for the 2016-17 season.  Located inside the beautiful Aspen Recreation Center, the 200X85 rink with seating for over 500 fans is a perfect venue for the hottest ticket in town.  Lewis Arena is already the home practice facility for the Tier-3 Junior team.  "With access to their home locker room and a stronger fan friendly atmosphere,  playing home games at Lewis simply makes the most sense" explained Aspen Junior Hockey Executive Director Shaun Hathaway.  "We look forward to providing our community an improved season of fast paced RMJHL hockey in a first class facility."

With the expansion of Steamboat Springs, the Leafs will play a 44 game season schedule, with 22 home games in Aspen.  The full 2016-17 schedule is due to be published in early June.  Aspen Junior Hockey plans to once again provide fans affordable  general admission tickets, and ice-level seating as part of the Woody Creek Distillers VIP package.
