During our 20U Leafs games versus the Colorado Rampage this weekend (Friday & Saturday at 7pm, Lewis Arena) AJH is working hard to raise money and awareness for Aspen Strong (https://aspenstrong.org).  The Aspen Strong Foundation is a nonprofit organization aimed to create resources for mental health needs, centralize mental health resources, and inspire a movement in the Roaring Fork Valley that promotes healthy community dialogue where suicide is recognized as preventable, and mental hygiene is embraced and supported within our community. 

Tickets for fast paced RMJHL action are available at the door: $5 for general admission seating and $25 for the Woody Creek Distillers VIP room (which includes rink side seating with high top tables).  Proceeds from both games, which includes a portion of new AJH Merchandise and beer sales (provided by the Roaring Fork Beer Company), benefits Aspen Strong.

On Saturday night, prior to the Leafs vs. Rampage game, AJH is hosting an open house and Skate with the Leafs.  Ice is available to all AJH members, friends, and the community at large with free skate rentals from 5:30 - 6:15.  Our 20U Leafs will be on the ice from 5:30 – 6:00 before getting themselves dressed for their 6:30 game-day warm-up.  From 5:30 – 6:30, we will also have our shooting room open and mats set up to explain and demonstrate our off–ice program.  Invite your friends and neighbors to the free skate and open house, and then stay for the Leafs vs. Rampage game.

There are game-day giveaways both nights, including a skateboard from Radio Board Shop, custom orthopedics from Surefoot Aspen, Aspen Recreation Center day passes.   Delicious cupcakes at the game game are provided by the Aspen Cupcake Company.
