Aspen Boys Represent in Colorado Springs, Littleton & Arvada

President's Day Weekend is an official hockey holiday.  Most teams throughout the country attend tournaments with 3-4 days of games.  Thousands of parents and players hit the highways and airways to stay in hotels and eat in restaurants to simply watch their kids play and have fun.

This season, five Aspen teams will travel 1-70 towards the front range to play in Colorado Springs, Littleton, and Arvada.  In the Springs, the Leafs Squirt C and Squirt B teams are attending the 40th Annual CSAHA President's Day Tournament, one of the longest running and largest tournaments in North America.  Featuring almost total 100 teams in 16 divisions.  In pool play action the Squirt C team is slated to play the Texas Brahmas, New Mexico Ice Wolves, Vail, and the Houston Hurricanes.  The Leafs Squirt B team faces off against the Texas Brahmas, Colorado Springs Tigers, Oklahoma City Oil Kings, and the New Mexico Warriors.

Just an hour north off I-25 the Bantam A and Peewee A teams will compete in the Littleton Hawks 32nd Annual President's Day Tournament featuring 44 teams in 4 divisions.  The Bantam A Leafs play the California Heat, Ventura (CA), Utah Select, Green Mountain Falls, and host Littleton.  The Peewee A Leafs square off against Green Mountain Falls, Utah Select, the Northwest Admirals, Foothills, and the host Hawks.

Just under an hour north of Littleton off Kipling Blvd, the Leafs Peewee B team play against the Omaha Jr. Lancers, the host team Arvada, Colorado Rampage, and the CRHL Jr. Eagles in the Arvada Winterfest Tournament (36 teams in 6 divisions).

Good luck to all players.  Stay tuned for team results on President's Day (Monday, February 19).
