For the 22nd year, Aspen Junior Hockey (AJH), we're continuing our unique fundraising opportunity to support our youth while advancing the great game of hockey throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. The Stirling Cup weekend is a celebration for the City of Aspen and surrounding communities. Founded by longtime Aspen resident Jody Cooper in memory of her late husband, Stirling Cooper, the Stirling Cup event embodies the community to promote youth sports, foster new relationships, and signify community involvement. For the 22nd annual event, AJH is proud to welcome some "home grown" players along with special guests. As the beneficiary of this exciting weekend and an organization with a long history in the Roaring Fork Valley since 1972, AJH continues to grow a world-class hockey program that continually challenges our youth and why we yearly have successful teams. This season's Stirling Cup will have weekend events September 8th - 10th. AJH provides a channel through the sport of hockey. Through hockey, we develop strong character, perseverance, and passion for the game. Not only do we evolve as athletes, but we also work to build our youth to become contributing citizens in the community. Please, help us commemorate the legacy of Stirling Cooper and the long-standing heritage of youth hockey in Aspen by getting involved in the 2023 Stirling Cup and help take part in building the character of our community. As a non-profit organization, the monies raised help support the AJH scholarship program, meaning no athlete is left behind.

*NEW this year we are celebrating our Locals homegrown HEROS! Our favorite firefighters, law enforcement, and community service hockey players will battle it out against our Aspen Junior Hockey coaches and alumni (past and present)! Saturday, September 9th, 5 pm Puck drops! 

This is our 2nd year including an opportunity to fly fish on the Roaring Fork River with professional local guides on Saturday, September 9th. 

Finishing the fantastic weekend off, our traditional Golf Day is Sunday, September, 10th at the Aspen Golf Course. 

Get your golf team signed up! We sell out every year. Also, we have limited availability for VIP rink-side tables (party of 4).
