Aspen Club Sponsors Leafs vs. T-Birds Fundraiser for a Cure

ASPEN, CO - The Aspen Leafs will wear new pink jerseys for the 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by The Aspen Club.  Aspen's premier gym, spa and training facility is excited to host these special games, and to bring to the forefront the issues regarding this deadly but beatable disease.  Lewis Arena will also be painting a portion of the rink pink for games Friday and Saturday.

"It only makes sense that the Leafs team up with an organization that holds health of the mind and body at a premium to host everyone's favorite night," head coach Jay Miller said. When asked more about the night he responded, "The elite training and spa facility is now partnered with the premier hockey team in town to battle against a deadly opponent, how can it not be a great night for everyone?"

The Leafs will wear a special one of a kind pink jersey that will be unveiled at the game. These jerseys will be available for auction after the game via eBay. Check back on the Leafs website front page for the link beginning Friday, February 17th.

All proceeds from ticket sales and jersey auctions, along with $1 from every beer sold will be donated to breast cancer prevention research. Both games will be at Lewis Arena in the Aspen Recreation Center on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th at 7:00pm against the Colorado Thunderbirds.

Come by and support the cause! $5 general admission and $25 for the Woody Creek Distillers VIP suite and glass-side seating.
