Tom Bowe Makes NCAA Commitment

Leafs Leading Scorer to Attend Division-III Plattsburgh State

Aspen Junior Hockey is proud to announce that 20U Leafs forward Tom Bowe has committed to NCAA Division-III Plattsburgh State University.  A member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), Plattsburgh is slated to host the NCAA Division-III Men's Ice Hockey Championships at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid in 2022.  

A  native of Homer, Alaska, Bowe finished the season as the Leafs leading scorer with 69 points (22 goals, 47 assists) in 40 games.  He also led the RMJHL in assists, and finished  second in points.   Last season with the Leafs he tallied an impressive 56 points in only 21 games (29 goals, 27 assists) before being called up to the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL.  

"We are very proud Tom's achievement, and wish him the best in the next phase of his hockey career and collegiate life," stated AJH Executive Director Shaun Hathaway.  "I have no doubt that he will make an immediate impact on the Plattsburgh Cardinal roster, and that he will achieve great success playing NCAA hockey."
