Three Weekends of Competition: 199 games, 94 teams, 7 states

Aspen Junior Hockey completed the third and final weekend of the 24th Annual Fall Faceoff hosting 30 teams at the Bantam B, Peewee A and Peewee B divisions.  Four Aspen teams participated as Bantam and Peewee B teams, finishing the tournament with a combined 6-5-5 record.

In the lone Bantam division, one of the two Leafs teams participating (Aspen Green) finished with a 2-0-2 record, missing the semi-final game by one point to eventual finalists Colorado Springs and Boulder.  In their final pool play game, needing a win to advance, the Leafs Bantams skated to a hard fought 0-0 tie against Boulder, the eventual champions.  Goaltender Zach Small was brilliant in net throughout the weekend.  Playing for both Aspen teams, he compiled an impressive 1.07 goals against average, and .94 save percentage, making 169 total saves on 180 shots and recording 3 shutouts.

The Aspen Leafs Peewee B Green team finished second in their division with a 2-1-1 record, falling short of the championship game to undefeated division rival and eventual Fall Faceoff champion Salt Lake City.  Ryder Rondeau led the Peewee B Leafs in scoring with 9 points (8 goals, one assist) in 6 games.

In week 2 (October 20-22), the two Leafs Squirt B teams finished pool play and playoff games undefeated, and eventually met in the championship game.  The Gold team knocked off the Green team 4-3 in a spirited contest.  In five games, Dylan Ness led the Leafs Gold with 15 points (10 goals, 5 assists); Jack Freitas led all Squirts with 20 points (14 goals, 6 assists).
