In 1998, the USA Women's Olympic team made history by capturing the nation's first gold medal, a 3-1 victory over Canada.  This special team paved the way for the rapid growth of girls hockey throughout the country.  Twenty years later, key members of the team will be in Aspen to play an exhibition game against the University of Colorado Lady Buffaloes.  

A tail gate party kicks off the event outside Lewis Arena starting a 5:00pm.  Burgers, brats and beverages will be available for purchase.  At 6:00, both teams take the ice in the 18th Annual Stirling Cup All-Star Classic marquee event, Team USA vs. CU.   Tickets are $5 at the door.
